There used to be an old yucky chain link fence separating our backyard and it had an old rusty swing set on it. We took down the swing set and the fence and the posts and whacked away at the blackberry bushes that were taking over. We then had to rake up the old wood chips and roots etc....
We planted 2 big rhododendrons and cleared the area....
We found some free sod for the first part of it and are planing on making a little rock patio/fire pit area in the back to have drinks and entertain and sit outside by the fire in the summer.
I took out those planter boxes in the middle of the side yard and had to plant grass and it is finally starting to grow!!

This is amazing how the place is changing for the better due to the hard work and planning of you two. It is looking fabulous. The floors are unbelievably gorgeous, and the colours of the walls just set them off beautifully. What a difference from when you bought the place.
