Bella has decided she likes to help out by sitting on the top perch of the ladder to supervise. She then proceeds to try and catch her own tail and roll on to her belly to be petted while still on the very top of the ladder...quite a sight to see!
We went to the rebuilding center in Portland where they sell basically everything from old houses that have been taken apart to recycle and found a new front door for our house. Here we are stripping the paint from one side of it to get back to the wood to stain it.
I know you love the outfit, especially the orange gloves......but notice I did have green on in honor of st. Patty's day!
Mudding drywall....... the bain of our existence! Nate and I both HATE doing it! We decided that when we build our own house one day we are paying someone to come and mud our walls for us!
There used to be an old yucky chain link fence separating our backyard and it had an old rusty swing set on it. We took down the swing set and the fence and the posts and whacked away at the blackberry bushes that were taking over. We then had to rake up the old wood chips and roots etc....
We planted 2 big rhododendrons and cleared the area....
We found some free sod for the first part of it and are planing on making a little rock patio/fire pit area in the back to have drinks and entertain and sit outside by the fire in the summer.
I took out those planter boxes in the middle of the side yard and had to plant grass and it is finally starting to grow!!
