Thanks Em!

I just want to give my good friend and old teammate Emily a HUGE thank you for all the work she helped put in to fixing up our house!! We are still a pretty good team!

Here we are awhile ago pulling siding off the top of our house's dormer so that we could paint the wood siding.

This is Anna, she is our neighbour Cam & Amanda's dog who we are babysitting this week while they are down in Shasta on the house boat. We love Anna, I think we are going to kidnap her and never give her back!!

Also notice the U of Oregon leash.... Cam is kind of obsessed with the Ducks....just kind of.... you should see the bell he has for tailgating!! But I guess we love the ducks right now too because they humiliated U of M at the big house last weekend!!!! ha ha! Great day to be a SPARTAN!!!!!

we finally finished laying the tile in the kitchen, now just to wait for it to dry and then grout it.


We decided to get a little creative with the door between the bathroom and the kitchen....

We had carpet installed upstairs this week...
We painted, put new trims up and had carpet installed....

All I need to do is scrape the paint off the windows and the upstairs is DONE!!!!! We just got the new carpet installed this week!

Some new things...

This is what the dormer landing at the top of the upstairs used to look like when we moved in, notice the nice blood red paint they were going to paint it on the wall...
This is what the walls now look like......we had to rip the drywall out because the previous owners had let their cats pee everywhere and we had to get rid of the smell!!YUCK! so we put up wainscoting like we have in our bathroom. Eventually some bookshelves will be built as well.
The new carpet is being installed this week so soon the upstairs will be done!

Grandma Hubble sent us these neat chair hammocks for a housewarming gift....they are so comfy to sit in on the front porch!!
